Congratulations and thanks to our 10th Student Committee of Young Chinese Professionals (YCP) for achieving the Saltire Awards. They have been particularly helpful with the setup of our new National Support Centre in March 2020, supporting Chinese communities in combatting Covid-19 pandemic in the UK.

All members of our 10th student committee were selected from the Department of Work, Employment and Organisation at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. In addition to their social contributions, each carried out research on how Chinese businesses or professionals could manage and prepare for challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic under the flagship research partnership between the University of Strathclyde and Scottish Chinese Professionals (SCP). Thanks to the support of our team leaders Tony, Sophia, June, Shuling, Yuan and Kerwin, and also academic mentors Jeremy and Michael over the year.
In 2021, 2 talented students Lichen Yuan and Pei Xu were selected to join our YCP 11th Student Committee, helping with organising our first global virtual career fair and exploring more meaningful HR topics for Chinese professionals and organisations.
