Community Care Team
We have developed diversified outreach strategies to deliver our messages to members of our community
Community outreach is our top priority
Community outreach is always in the very heart of our work. And due to the increasing need for community care in response to the escalating global outbreak of Covid-19 in 2020, we have decided to set up our Community Care Team (CCT). Today, the team focuses its entire efforts on reaching out to our professional community, elderly retirees and students, and organisations with a large number of Chinese employees in the UK.
Our Community Care Team's mission is to implement the concept of 'people first' to play a positive role in serving and cohering the Chinese professional community and to provide a sound and healthy community environment for all.
Professional support amid the Covid-19 pandemic
Since the beginning of the outbreak, our Community Care Team has been in touch with over 50 public organisations, Chinese community associations and SMEs in the UK. In addition to offering mutual support and stronger collaborations, we have appointed two new experienced medical advisors to help answer medical and traditional Chinese medical questions raised by members of our community. We believe by strengthening our work with Dr Justin Garner, Dr Kit Wu and Dr Ming Chen, we could further our spectrum of care for our community in need.
Why do we reach out to our professional community?
Our success relies on how much care we have given to our professional community
There is a difference between reaching the community and caring for the community. Whilst reaching is the first step, simply telling others what we have been doing is not caring.
We constantly explore opportunities to create interactions innovatively and professionally for professionals to participate. Our community newsletters are a powerful avenue to circulate useful messages to our community, especially in critical times. Over the years, we have developed a diversified outreach strategies to ensure opportunities, news and concerns are heard, including engaging with major and local news agents in the UK and China.
